Put Your Cell Phone in Airplane Mode

If you put your phone in "airplane mode" when it is in your pocket or somewhere else on your body, you will be safe from cell phone frequencies.  You will not be able to make or receive calls in this mode and you can turn it back on whenever you need to make a call or want to check your messages.

According to GreenAmerica.org, "Phones only emit radio-frequency radiation when they’re searching for or receiving a signal, so a phone that’s off or in 'airplane mode' is safe."
