Mobilize to Premiere in September in San Francisco and East Bay

Mobilize will screen at the Rheem Theatre in Moraga, CA  on Friday, September 12th at 1 PM and at the Castro Theater in San Francisco, CA on Saturday, September 13th at 1 PM as part of the 17th California Independent Film Festival. The film is also nominated for the Best Documentary Award along with Citizen Hearst and True Son.

Mobilize is an investigative documentary that explores the potential long-term health effects from cell phone radiation, including cancer and infertility. The film examines the most recent scientific research, follows national legislative efforts, and illuminates the influence that technology companies have on public health. Mobilize features interviews with numerous doctors, politicians, cancer patients, and technology experts. 

Both screenings will be followed with a Q&A panel featuring the filmmakers and experts from the film. After party suggestions are welcome.

Mandatory Cancer Warning Stickers for Cell Phones

Berkeley, California officials are working on legislation that would require retailers to have cell phones sold with sticker warning that the phones may emit radiation that causes cancer.
